Checkout

At checkout you'll find it a breeze to complete your order and finalize your Online shopping visit. If you have already registered your e-mail address with Trenz Electronic, or created an account at our store before, you can use your e-mail address to login. Otherwise, you must create an account. Having an account will give you access to handy features such as the personal address book and your personal order history.

Delivery Information

The first step of the checkout ask for your shipping address. The billing address will always be taken from your account. If you have stored an shipping address during previous checkouts, you can also use the address book to select it. The possible shipping options are presented below. Choose the appropriate shipping method from the list and hit "Continue".

Payment Information

Next up is the payment information. You can either pay with COD, invoice or use your credit card. If you want to pay by card, the service is issued via Saferpay (a certified payment service provider) following these steps:

You leave our shop and are linked to the Saferpay Virtual Terminal (server).
You enter your credit card data via a 128-Bit SSL encrypted connection.
Saferpay verifies the data with your corresponding bank. The payment process can be finished on success.
The total amount will be reserved for Trenz Electronic (no debit at this time).
We, the merchant, are informed about the payment reservation.
The reserved amount will be charged, when the goods are shipped.

The debit is limited to the reserved amount, which can not be exceeded. Nothing will be charged until the goods are shipped. Accordingly, the Saferpay system complies with the actual guidelines of the German credit card providers for secure payment of e-commerce and mail order transactions, called PCI Data Security Standard. This includes processing the credit card verification number and the procedures Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. Our online shop and the virtual terminal are secured by 128-Bit SSL and a separate browser window. In order to ensure your privacy, your credit card data will not be not stored on our systems.

Order Confirmation

When your payment information is completed you will enter a screen with your order overview. Please check carefully all the information on this page, since this is your last chance to correct it. You have to explicitly agree to our "Terms and Conditions" by enabling the checkbox below the order overview. After hitting "Confirm Order", your order will be processed and sent to the warehouse. From this point on, you can track your order in your account.

My Account

The profile is the central location where you have access to all your information. It is also possible to maintain an address book, specify a newsletter subscription and look at your order history.

Personal Information

On this page you can change your e-mail address and password. The information you enter here is used in combination with the information entered on the newsletter page to be able to send you personalized communication on product launches, offers etc. Of course you won't receive any of this if you haven't signed up for it.

Notifications

Here you can sign up to receive Trenz Electronic newsletters and specify topics about which you wish to be kept up to date. It is also possible to sign off here.

Address Book

In the address book you have the option to maintain a list of up to five shipping addresses, which you can then use to checkout easier and faster. When you checkout, it is possible to indicate an address to be stored in the address book for later use.

Order History

Here you can review all Trenz Electronic orders you have made in the past, and also track recent orders. Following "View Order" will show up your order's details and the actual status of an individual order.

Searching

You can use our on-site search feature in the top right of every page to look for products. The search terms can be narrowed by several attributes, like date, price, manufacturer or the product category.

Tell a Friend

If you find a particular product Online at shop.trenz-electronic.de that you want to show a friend, find the link called "Tell a Friend" on any product page. All you need to do is click on the link and fill out the e-mail form. Type in your friend's name and e-mail address and a personalized message. When you click "Continue", your friend will receive an e-mail with your message and a link to the product. You can send the link to as many friends as you want. The email addresses you enter won't be stored.
